This is an internal 2 lever rim lock, made by Croft Architectural in the lockmaking capital of the UK, Willenhall. The case is cast from solid brass and then finished in an array of stunning finishes.
These work in conjunction with a rim knob, whereby the external knob is screwed to the door on a rose and the internal side sits over this rim lock. Typically used in the 1930's on doors which are not thick enough to accomodate the more commonly used mortice latch mechansim.
These rim locks are handed (Right Hand shown) so please choose carefully when selecting your product.
